ADRIANA GALAN

Adriana Galan moved to Canada from Slovakia in 2002. Along with her husband Rudy. Together, they raised their three boys, she has called Stittsville home for the past 15 years. A dedicated bookkeeper, Adriana is one of the leaders in the Ottawa-Slovak community, always welcoming friends and community members to her home. She is respected for her warmth and dedication to Stittsville. Most recently, she served as President of the Stittsville Business Association (SBA), is a board member of the Kiwanis Club of Kanata-Stittsville, and a member of the Stittsville Village Association (SVA). When she is not volunteering, Adriana finds peace in her garden, especially tending to her favorite flowers, peonies. Adriana will always listen to the great citizens who have made Stittsville a home for all of us, and welcome and support newcomers who choose to build their lives in our communities. Adriana is inspired by people and driven by purpose.
